The old fishing village of Noss Mayo

Nearby on the Yealm Estuary are the charming villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers, with the old cottages clinging to the hillsides and the fishing boats and dinghies rising and falling with the tide. Here you can mess about in boats, and there are creek-side walks and friendly village pubs with good food.

A walkway called the Voss can be used at low tide to commute across the creek between the two villages.
